four-way  pinhole  photography  (December  2012 - April 2013)

An ongoing practical researched based project looking at notions of space within the photographic image.

Picture
Four-way pinhole camera

The Four-way pinhole camera takes photographs of multiple perspectives of a spaces at one time. The camera has four separate shutters that enables the photographer to capture a 360-degree view of a space in to one photograph. The resulting images show the viewer an entire 360-degree view of a space within a single image. They can be viewed as a flat image or can be rolled to form structural pieces.

The following photographs are from the 'St Margaret's Rd' series, taken between March and April 2013.
(All images, 8x10" resin coated photographic paper)
